There are now only 954 tickets left for @neil-gaiman unique copy of STARDUST once the last ticket is sold the draw will be held by Raffall.

So to those of you as yet unaware I’m currently running two raffles which include books by @neil-gaiman

The first book is a copy of STARDUST there are ONLY 2 of these particular copies anywhere in the world and I have one!!

Funds from both books will go towards supporting non-referral foodbanks, homelessness, wholly volunteer led charities such as The Biscuit Fund and a few smaller charities I’ve supported for some time now, there is a lot more information on the link.

The 2nd book is a numbered edition of CORALINE- The Red Thread Edition it is number 174/200 and it has some additional doodles from both Neil and the artist Rovina Cai you can no longer buy this edition either.

If you’d like to enter the first thing I’d say is ***PLEASE READ THE SHIPPING INFORMATION***

You’ll not need to sell any major organs to buy tickets as was previously suggested to me, but there are only 2000 of the STARDUST tickets available at a mere £20 each for a book that you couldn’t ever possibly dream of affording any other way so this is going to make some lucky persons day.

The Coraline book retailed at £600 I’ve seen resales on eBay for over £1000 but you can buy a ticket for £5 there are 5000 tickets available and we are well on our way to selling the first 100 in each category of book.

Tomorrow I shall mostly be building an Ark…

Dear @neil-gaiman yesterday I almost died, quite literally.

I had hoped for Death to come and speak to be gently like in #Sandman instead I heard my fathers grumpy southern drawl tell me it wasn’t my time and I should get up out of my hospital bed and fight off the illness that has put me here.

I’m not sure if I’m sad that it was my dad, who is also dead, and not someone like Death who spoke to me but I’m grateful that at least someone did and I’m alive this morning because of it.

I’m pretty useless over here I can see this is going to be yet another steep learning curve but you know what they say “ Everyday’s a school day” so I’ll go with the flow and if I make mistakes along the way I’ll learn from them!

So I’ve decided to come over here to Tumblr as an additional tool in the toolbox for fundraising and catching up with friends from the bird site!

I fundraise mainly for smaller groups that are wholly volunteer led and whom do not draw any salary from the funds raised. I find raise for both local and national groups in the UK both here in Scotland and across the Border.

There are some amazing groups of people out there such as The Biscuit Fund who rely on donations to help them ( as they say) give folk a crumb of hope. If you’d like to donate directly to them you’ll find them below.

I have in the past few years fundraise with the support of the amazing Mr Neil Gaiman and you can see what’s on offer by clicking on the link again below. If you click on my profile you’ll see what’s been offered up in the past and what’s on offer now, namely a HUGE #Sandman book (unsigned) but it’s sold out and bloody enormous, and a pair of tickets to see @lewiscapaldiofficial, whilst the tickets listed are originally from Viagogo I do have back up tickets from another company as a just in case! There is also a signed Lewis Capaldi LP as an additional prize.

So this is who I am and I’m pretty sure @neil-gaiman will vouch for me and what I do if anyone needs to ask.
