So I was on my way to school on a regular Wednesday morning, stressing out about exams and tests and appointments and life, probably running a little late, when suddenly I looked up and saw the last summer sun rays light up the leaves of this tree. I almost went on, but then I stopped to admire the spectacle. It literally looked like the sun was setting everything on fire, the leaves had such an intense color and the whole place just put me in awe. And in that moment I realized, beauty is all around us. We may think that our to do list is more important than a sun ray hitting a leave at the perfect time for us to see, but when you think about it, it’s the other way around. Stand still for a second, notice the beauty and remember that life is so much smaller and so much bigger than you think.
