when you’re sad or anxious or angry, remind yourself that you’ll be okay. face your fears, stop avoiding things and you might even surprise yourself. be around people who make you feel worthy. do things that make you happy. feel things strongly, cry without holding back. don’t hold on to things that are weighing you down. you’re so much better than that. you’re one of the few people in the world who will always be there for you. so be kind to yourself. treat yourself like you’d treat a friend, like how a friend would treat you. be your own friend and you’ll be okay no matter what.

don’t let the people who have hurt you ruin the things you enjoy. you used to watch that show with your ex? if you love it, keep watching it. your former friend introduced you to your favorite band? don’t stop listening to their music. it might hurt at first, but eventually it’ll stop feeling like it’s their thing and start feeling like your thing again.
