Best thing about Sanji is how many communities he hits and how hard he hits them. His life is suuuuch an allegory for being LGBTQA+ and an allegory for being disabled. He was So so So made for us!

He's for the kids that were told that they were weird for not performing gender correctly. He's for the little boys that were told they were too feminine. He's for the kids that were told that they were "too sensitive", he's for the kids that stopped crying in front of others and started crying themselves to sleep quietly at night instead so they're not bothering anyone.

He's for the kids that are told that they're stupid and worthless if they're not perfect. He's for the kids who are so kind but that's "not good enough" and they're told they need to "be better". For the kids that stay up all fucking night studying and pushing themselves past their limits, 500% harder than their peers and still falling short and failing the test and then told they didn't try hard enough.

He's for the kids who want to do something creative with their lives and are so passionate but they're told that their interests are dumb wastes of time if it doesn't make money. And for kids that daydream about running away from home. The kids that make a wish on every falling star to just make one real friend. And for alllll the adults that were once kids like that, too!!!

He's flawed but he's ours and he's for us!!!!
