🍼Things that babies love love love!🍼

As a caregiver and big sib to many littles in the past and now. All of these are my opinions and what has happened in my expirence!

Talking to them and they’re stuffies! Even if they’re babbling! Agree with they’re babbles and talk with them!

Baby them! If they’re in a headspace or wanting to be in a small headspace then baby them! Ask them what color something is! Ask them what the animal says! Tell them they’re too little to do something! Open things for them!

Help them regress with nicknames! I’ve seen that tiny tot, tiny, little one, munchkin, pumpkin, baby girl/boy/etc, silly goose

Tell them you’re proud of them! Even if it’s little things like putting toys away or asking for help!

Ask if babie needs help with things! Anything, like opening something, cutting up food, feeding themselves, etc. Also ask babie if they need to do something, like ‘hey little one I see that you’re doing a potty dance, do you need to go potty?’ Or ‘hey tiny I see that your toys are all over could you clean them up for me before we watch a show?’

Turn on tiny shows! Shows that have lots of music or learning shows. Disney junior or nick junior shows are really good, also sprouts has tiny tiny baby shows! During the show if they ask ‘can you find this?’ Ask babie if they can find it (ex. In Dora she asks if you can find the mountain, ask babie they can see the mountain)

If you’re little one wears pull ups/diapers make sure they’re wearing one! I know for some tinys it’s very nerve racking to have someone change them, so during changing time distract them with a stuffie, rattle, teether, show, or ask them simple questions like what does the monkey say, etc. NEVER force a babie who wears pull ups to have you change them. NEVER force a tiny to wear pull ups if they aren’t comfortable, you can suggest it to them and even get them to try it out once or twice to see if it’s something they like but DO NOT force it.

you want to play video games? but honey you have homework.. you can play after you finish. what? you want to play and then do your homework? but we both know that if you do that, your homework will never get done. ha, no no that isn't a good thing darling. you're a pacifist like in undertale? you think that not doing your homework is for the greater good? well... i guess i cant argue with that logic- AH BBY NO YOU GOTTA DO YOUR HOMEWORK- and the nintendo is already on... crap
