heya! you dont know me i dont think if u do i am very sorry i dont know usernames super well, but your post asking for help with smoke came up on my dash and im an asthmatic whose spent a couple wildfire seasons dealing with smoke and i got word limited so i am in here
so i dont have too much about properly recovering from smoke inhalation but i did have to do a lot to prevent it getting worse- i have asthma and i actually forgot my inhaler was an option so if you have one on hand definitely use it smoke brain is a killer. also make sure you chug water like your life depends on it although you've got ice chips so im assuming you're already on that- hot water and tea felt really nice for me. saline is also a friend it helps with the dried/burning feeling in my nose (you can get them for pretty cheap at a lot of pharmacies so you can snort it). also taking a hot shower helped because the steam was really nice
putting wet towels in the cracks in the doors and windows can help. covering your nose and mouth with one can also be helpful especially if your room is especially smokey (it is a bit harder to breathe but it can help trap some of the larger particles floating around and personally just made me feel better).
also washing my face a lot- my eyes and face were constantly burning so making sure you splash your face regularly to get that crap out of your eyes can help.
There are also instructions online about how to make cheap air filters with a box fan and a furnace filter you can get for pretty cheap that can also help clean up the air in your house
