I sometimes forget that Lucien's scar and metal eye weren't things he was born with.
At some point in the story Tamlin was probably pacing around the manor waiting for his emissary to return from Amarantha, hoping for good news. And instead saw Lucien dumped back in the Spring Court brutally mutilated and covered in blood, dazed or maybe passed out entirely. Imagine the absolute horror
He's been through so much and I can't stand the part of the fandom who tries to villianize him.
If you don't like his character, that's fine. But stop twisting narrative, the rest of us have the same books and so much nonsense I've seen is straight up false. 😡
