there are other uses of “passing”, but I doubt his url was meant to be in reference to “white passing” (iirc he was white, though I could be wrong)
given the phrasing of “passing privilege” specifically, and his recurring Bit of turning transphobic anons into Humor for himself as a cis funneyblogger, it's very hard to not see the URL as an attempt to make some people mistakenly think he's trans to farm them for funneyposts (and for whatever other additional reasons)

the Marisa (Reimu) moveset is from nearly a decade ago. the technology for Brawl modding wasn't nearly as advanced at the time, there's some jank, and it's also an oddity in that it uses 2D sprites. hopefully someone will make a new moveset one day

I love how this explanation completely removes the capability for bad results to come from bad human inputs - if you’re struck by the system and you’re not a Russian Spambot, it can only be due to issues in the systems that administer and set your trust ranking. The concept that staff could strike you or otherwise reduce your rank because you’re, say, a black blogger making posts about Ferguson or BLM, is completely out of the question here. The only origin of bad actions is faults in code, not bad actors. It’s like how techbros talk about AI or, hell, crypto - ‘code is law’, but applied to moderation.
