Will the new Doctor type be reserved only for The Doctor, or is there a possibility for it to be used for regular doctors?
Doctor is a creature type that can be used by Doctors. Time Lord is the thing specific to the Doctor.

I'm sure we'll see cards that count creatures in the graveyard a lot, but where is Undergrowth as an ability word on the storm scale?
I’d call it a 7 as an ability word.

If/When - Cipher (supplemental sets)

I saw Cipher is a "Storm Scale 9" in an article from 2016. Could that be improved (especially in a supplemental product) by simply not restricting it to U/B?

I could definitely see a Flame Jab variant, a Bolt variant, a Rampant Growth variant, and several others that would be sort of a "Build your own Titan" style cycle.
Heck, I'd love to see an *Arcane* Cipher, so you can splice it :)
Cipher has a very small design space. Obviously, opening it to other colors gets you some more designs, but even with that it's limited.
Blink is the unofficial word used for when a creature gets exiles and comes immediately back, right? So what is it called when a creature gets exiles and comes back at the next end step?
We use "flicker" and "blink", the former slightly more than the latter in R&D. We just say "instant flicker" or "flicker until end of turn" if there's confusion.
So I was having a conversation with a friend about old anime and in the middle of it she forgot the word "canonical" and she instead inflicted a spectacular new aesthetic and slew of mental images on me by saying the phrase "Biblically Accurate Ouran High School Host Club".
Etymologically, "bible" simply means "book", so any film or television adaptation of media originally published in book form that's true to its source material can technically be described as "biblically accurate".
would you kindly give whoever devised the princess bride ub two high fives a handshake and a compliment
Will do.
Below is me rambling about a program I used incorrectly while having no idea what it's for, and slowly learning what it's for in real-time and realizing I completely misused it.
"We don’t often do tertiary abilities on multicolor cards, although we do on rare occasion. " I get that for Hybrid cards. I don't really understand why that would be for gold?
Because when you’re adding something to a card, we want it to be something squarely in your color.

Which do you think would come first: keywording "enters ... tapped" or keywording "enters the battlefield"?
The latter.
Could "partner with creature type without partner" or "partners with color" be a thing? For exemple, "Partners with Legendary Angel" or "Partners with Oophe".
Open-ended partner is dangerous because there are cards we haven’t made yet. We don’t want to limit what we can make in the future because of an open-ended card from the past.
What about adventure lands
The play pattern isn’t great and there are rules issues.
“I’ve had designs that I thought people would adore which they didn’t, and cards that I thought nothing of that became huge hits.” What are some examples of cards that became huge hits that you thought nothing of at the time? What were your takeaways?
I thought Rishadan Port was nothing special.
Takeaway lesson: Card power has a huge impact on whether people like a card. : )
I get what internet (often borderline or overt rad)feminists are trying to say with shit about how men never have to deal with x, but sooo many of the examples get shot to shit when you apply any other Man to the example than a cishet rich thin white guy.
“When have men ever had to worry about being killed for something they wore?” Black men. Gay men. Trans men.
“When have men ever been body shamed?” Fat men, balding men, disabled men.
“When have men ever had to worry about walking home at night?” Black men, gay men.
People reinvent “if men could get pregnant” over and over and when someone says “oh they do actually” it’s always viewed as hostile and not a potential intersection.
Like no, you do not have to coddle men, but men saying “hey I do know what it’s like actually” are not outright our enemy trying to center themselves, they are often extending a hand saying “hey I do get it too.”
sometimes they're also saying "stop erasing us goddammit"
This whole body over headmate thing feels so often like it's gotten to the point it's gaslighting systems on their own experiences and actively ignoring we do know of tested examples of different mates having different physical related aliments. Like the known case of the blind woman who happened to have a seeing mate or the paralyzed man with one who could walk. Allergies being inconsistent, some needing glasses some don't. Some knowing even different languages than each other. Different mental illnesses. It's all just weirdly feeling like they are so certain they know exactly how some strangers body and system works.
As well as so often the phrasing of people against it make it sound like they assume these are only internal experiences and never sound like they are acknowledge this could be their fronting experience.
Then the bull on how people can "just switch" to start talking again. 1) that person is still not speaking?? Still needs an outside force to communicate for them?? 2) this is assuming so much that everyone who is fighting for these terms just has free fun switching and never could have long front stuck moments. You have no control over fronting? You especially are in a spot these words and communities are important. And most of their arguments seem more and more cruel.
But part of me also just is like.. confused. This feels like it mostly just sums back up again to strangers wanting to know everything about your personal information to judge and berate. Not everyone in one system should be treated like some unified whole where one over rules the direct experiences of another.
Just because a couple of us don't need glasses doesn't mean the majority that do suddenly can just make us fully sighted ya know? Still need glasses. Still need assistance in that way. Just because only some of us are epileptic and others aren't doesn't change we still have to work around that when they are around and go to doctors if they need help for either. I just don't get it.
