some of y’all need to learn more compassion for adults who are severely mentally ill or disabled… like schizophrenics who still depend on their family members and probably always will have to, autistic people who live in group homes, people with bipolar disorder who attend partial inpatient programs, etc…. people who couldn’t get college degrees, who can’t work. not everyone is like you.

Can we please stop censoring potential bad issues and side effects of HRT and GRS? It's super important for people to know the potential outcomes. My heart breaks when I hear/read someone say "nobody told me this would happen" when it comes to a side effect. It's up to the individual if you want to proceed with it after weighing the options.
For trans men, T gel can hurt any female partner you have if you have any skin to skin contact. They can get issues with vaginal atrophy/prolapse or menopausal symptoms as well as the male hair loss/acne that us trans men can get. They need to know this before they consent to sexual activity. Trans men need to know this for ourselves as well. The information needs to be out there especially with places like the USA which has terrible healthcare.
Transphobes use this stuff against us when stuff is censored. They say it makes us seem disingenuous or like we are grooming people and that's not true. We need to be honest about it. Maybe GRS and HRT isn't for every trans person but that doesn't mean its not the best choice for your body. That's for you to decide and you need to know pros and cons before you make that choice.
Knowledge is self empowerment and that includes the positives and the negatives.
look, i dont care what directors say in behind-the-scenes or interviews, if they dont present that information in the film, they are bad story tellers. like, we had to assume everyone attended your comiccon panel? like? no. you are bad at story telling. if a character appears with zero context, it is confusing. i am not saying spoon feed the audience, but goddamn, there are plot devices that should be there to explain why that character showed up. not just information from your twitter. i shouldnt have to absorb five layers of media for your film to make sense
