“I chummed the water and now there are sharks circling”
having one of those executive function days where everything is too many steps
by which i mean, like, here's how my brain parses the steps in making coffee
good day:
- make coffee
regular day:
- put water in coffee maker
- put coffee in coffee maker
- turn on coffee maker
bad day:
- take pot from coffee maker
- turn on sink
- fill up coffee pot
- turn off sink
- pour water into coffee maker
- put coffee pot in coffee maker
- open cupboard
- get coffee filter from cupboard
- get coffee beans from cupboard
- put filter in coffee pot
- measure coffee
- pour coffee into filter
- close coffee maker
- turn coffee maker on
anyway this is a "14 steps to make coffee" kind of day
This is actually a really good way of explaining this
"Slip a little something in their tea - no fuss, and you can always pretend it was a mistake"
"Poison is WOMAN'S weapon! Call them out on their front lawn and slaughter them and everything they hold dear!"
"Can I compromise and invite them over for a party, get them drunk, and slaughter them while they're sleeping it off?"
country boys make do

i am in my 20s but also in my teenage years and also in my 40s
girls when being in your 20s means you have teenage emotions but also adult responsibilities at the same time
The urinal is cool and all but wtf is up with the mirrors, are they there so you can see you dark gothic piss in different angles??
Can one not marvel thy member? It is only customary in Gothic culture
The most terrifying part of having memory issues is when you can feel something from 5 seconds ago be thrown out the window and there's an empty hole where it once was. You remember that you forgot something.
The pit-of-your-stomach dread you feel when you finally remember what your forgot only to realize you've run out of time to do it... It would have been better if you had missed it entirely, but no, you remembered just in time to be paralyzed with fear over not being ready, like being woken up 30 minutes before a test you didn't study for.
