people fr seem to assume that regardless of anything, people who were coercively assigned male and aren't men have like, the exact same lived experiences as cis men up until the moment they come out. like there wasn't anything at all whatsoever that prevented them from coming out or something

like this is what "male socialization" is ultimately about, i think. it's all about denying any oppression happening before a transfeminine person comes out, as if they weren't and could not have been subject to transmisogyny before then. it's about making the femininity and womanhood of trans women foreign to them, it's about denying them expertise on their own lived experiences as women.

i think this is what "female socialization" really highlights as a complementary term. my glorious learned innate intuitive and deep understanding of What It's Like To Be A Real Woman vs. your shallow vapid and tragically Male understanding of womanhood (you would never understand)
