A boy and a girl from different high schools meet over vacation, and the boy acts very out of character

When they return from vacation, the girl has moved to the town the boy lives in! But the boy is not the same….

This upsets the girl, and she sings a sad song about her unrequited feelings and about how things have changed

But with some help from their friends, the couple is able to overcome the boundaries of their social cliques and have a lovely duet together

And let’s not forget about the big group song at the end of the movie all about being together!

But you know what? That is absolutely okay, my love. You are still here. You are still breathing. You are still a wonderful human being. And you matter so so much. Days like these happen and they are nothing to be ashamed of. You are loveable even at your lowest points, darling. You are not your bad days. You are the fact that you overcome them. Every damn time. Give yourself credit. You are doing such an amazing job. Please be gentle with your heart. You are trying - and that is all you need to do.
