ppl who don’t notice the moon bother me
Middlefork Trail, November 2021
I decided to go mushroom picking with my mom and grandma today despite hot and dry weather (not ideal for mushroom growth). I found few edible ones but when I lost sight of my mom and granny I stumbled upon a fairy ring and roe-deer’s scull! It might be a sign, fingers crossed not bad luck.
Made a protective witch ball for Yule! It was so easy and it’s so pretty—I got an empty ornament from a craft store (you can find them almost anywhere this time of year), a wee bit of superglue to seal it, and filled it with herbs and stones I already had. This one includes a stick of cinnamon, some dried wildflowers I harvested this summer, a few sprigs of pine boughs, some juniper berries, black tourmaline, selenite, amethyst, and rose petals and thorns.
Caught that morning sunlight 🌞☀️
