So, I’ve been working on something that is both very personal and an update on my journey of self discovery. Turns out I’m not quite cis either. This has been a thing for quite a bit, and I’ve been slowly dropping hints so that this didn’t entirely come out of nowhere. I’m not usually good with verbalizing how I truly feel at times, so I drew a comic instead. I used this to not only come out to my family, but also to use my art as it is a part of me just as much as my gender and sexuality is. I still have such a long way to go, but this is just the beginning

So Pride Month has officially ended, but pride is an all year thing so I’m still making this post anyways. With all that happening, it can seem impossible to have pride due to how scary things are becoming for queer and trans/nonbinary people. I’m scared too. But because I have the privilege of being able to be out and proud, I want to use that privilege for the people who can’t now and in the future. I want to be braver, to stick to what I know is right even when people are out there that are continuously demonizing us for our existence. To my queer and trans/nonbinary siblings, do what you need to do to make it through these times. It’s gonna be rough, but I want to believe that there’s a better future ahead

Y’all thought I was finished with the Young Royals film studies? Nope, cause this show has me in a chokehold. For this one, I did Felice, an absolute queen who deserves a lot more appreciation than she gets. This still was definitely tricky due to some of the details being more blurry, she was really pushing me to get this right. So hopefully, I did right by her. Finished another film study of Young Royals because this show has been stuck in my brain since November (not that I’m complaining much). This time, I did Wille because you just can’t separate Simon and Wille. The background was a bit tricky for me to figure out, but everything else was pretty fun for me to do (especially the details on the face).
