I hate when people say Melissa’s a lesbian I HATE IT IT HATE IT

She’s so almost explicitly bi why can’t that be good enough, why can’t that be queer enough, why can’t people be happy with that?

And I know she’s not canonically bi but she’s pretty damn close

• has a boyfriend

• thinks decisive women are hot

• wants to bang the rock and john bonjovi

• asked ‘no women’

•thinks Barbara’s aged like fine wine

• just like stanley tucci

I get wanting your faves to be like you but bffr when she’s so bi coded why erase that?

How did it go from ‘omg she’s so queer coded’, ‘she’s for the girls’ etc to ‘she’s a lesbian’

Why is it not just celebration of a sapphic character?

If we want to talk about characters to head canon as a lesbian why not barbara?

The woman who’s deep religious faith would make sense to stop her coming out.

Not the woman who has talked about (or at least implied) attraction to men and women

Happy pride month

Stop bi erasure xoxo

You can love a character and still admit when they're wrong.

For example, I love Misty Quigley, but I acknowledge her flaws (none, she's perfect) and can hold her accountable for her wrongdoings (she's never done anything wrong in her life, she's a closer) and call her out on her actions (which are always right).
