My mom turned 80 this summer and I decided to give her a special gift, her own fine art session. It´s been a rough year for our elders and the fact that she´s still alive after what´s happening in the world, makes me realize how fragile life can be. She wanted to be an artist, when she was a kid, and I somehow made her dream come true.

Only the fearless will conquer
Hope there´s someone
I lost a childhood and dear friend due to depression a few days ago. She took her life, even though she had two kids, teen and autistic. She was their whole world, and now she´s no more. I know she´d love these self portraits that I took, out of the deepest mourn in my heart.
Now I only got our conversations and silly pics, because she lived far away from me.
