Tales of travels throughout the heart of the American West. Depicted through brief words and a boatload of my photos. **ALL PHOTOS ARE MY OWN** Website: Hannahsadowski.com / Instagram - @Hawna

For those of you following along on this page. I briefly mentioned a few months back that I was in the process of creating a website dedicated to my aviation journey. It is finally up and running! My first blog post is a little insight about myself and why I decided to share my flight training experiences. There will be plenty to follow but for now I’m just excited about its existence!!

You can check it out at hannahsadowski.com

Thanks for being here and follow along if you feel so inclined 😊

When I first started using this platform in 2014 it was solely as a place to post/store my photos from a 4 month long road trip living out of a Sprinter van. A lot has changed since then. I moved to Montana for a few years, left to go live in Alaska and finally returned home to PA at the end of last fall so I could fully pursue aviation. My journey to become a private pilot has not been without its hardships. Aviation is most certainly a rich mans game. Which is why I’ve been applying to as many scholarships as I’m eligible for. The one thing that has been consistent across the board was the question “how are you going to promote aviation if you receive this scholarship?”. In the visual driven world we’re apart of, this aspect has become a necessity for donors. I cannot complain given the fact I am asking for money. I realize it is only fair that I play by the rules. However, it always seemed to be the question with my weakest response. With that being said, I decided to create my own website, dedicated to aviation and this journey I’ve embarked on since the day I left for Alaska. It will consist of written passages and photos of my process from its inception up until now. This goal has required me to make the hardest sacrifices of my life. One of which was moving back east, something I never thought I’d do again. The website is still under construction at the moment. I will post its domain once it is up and running but I wanted to give a heads up on here for anyone who might care to follow along or check it out or has ever been interested in flying. Thanks for your time, folks ! Cheers, Hannah

The first time I witnessed the aurora, I stayed up, biking around town from 11pm until 5am. This was taken by roommate, just as we were riding up to the front of our house. I put my feet down, head up, and was singing this must be the place. A moment I’m grateful was captured, one I’ll never forget.

Backpacking in BC this September. Second site, second night, second sunset.

Been a few weeks since this moment, still can’t believe how lucky we got with our sites. Heaps of gratitude.
