i think my biggest canon divergency for nel’s personality is that she ? is not a violent person by any means, but she knows her strength and she will absolutely not hesitate to put someone in their place if they square up on her. i wouldn’t say she’s scrappy, because she doesn’t start fights, but she will finish them just fine. she also says fuck.
