The errand running for House Hlaalu intensifies. Baleyna Hlaalu sends the outlander to Ald'Ruhn to impersonate Felsen, a servant of House Redoran who has gone mysteriously missing as of late.

I want to give a massive thank you to my friend @languorwine who collaborated with me on this comic. Their absolutely gorgeous night sky background on the silt strider page (page 4). I love their landscape skills and thank them so much for lending them to me for this part.

Observing the behind the scenes process as you worked and seeing it all coming together was awesome, especially since all the previous chapters had already amazed me with your storytelling, composition and colorwork so this was genuinely huge. Getting to collab with one of your favorite artists who’s also a dear friend is so much fun, thank you so much for the opportunity!! Very excited for what’s next

Not all of us get to have a legacy, Agnes. Some of us just get shot and die.

By the time I began work on Volume 2 of @ikroah, I hatched the idea for variant covers drawn by guest artists to go along with my own cover for each volume. As I get back to work on the next issue, I've also been collaborating with the wonderful and talented @languorwine, whose eye for rendering beauty, awe, and raw pathos on large landscapes seemed perfect for the long overdue variant cover to Vol. 1 of this comic. It's been added to the first post in the @ikroah archive alongside the original cover.

The scene on this variant cover comes from issue #8. There were a few different scenes and cover ideas that we kicked around, but none felt more profound than this one. This moment, and this issue, has come to sort of define @ikroah for me. There was no one, and no one whose hands, that I trusted more than @languorwine to render it out like this.

I first read IKROAH back in 2020 and it left such an impression on me, for several reasons. Agnes is one of my favorite couriers ever, just like Lou’s take on Cass and other NPCs. Observing and studying her style and storytelling over the issues as well as discussing it with her helped me grow a LOT as an artist and even explore with comics every now and then. All of Lou’s work planning and organizing, from script to the finished issue, is genuinely amazing to see 

Lou is a very dear friend and as an IKROAH fan, this was such a pleasure to work on with her. Thank you so much for the opportunity! 💕
