omg younger people may not remember this but like in 2011ish google maps sucked and didn’t know what any land besides a road was so as soon as you entered a parking lot it would yell at you over and over to get back on the road. like bro no this is where I need to be!!

Apple maps tried to get me to turn onto a bridge that was above me because it thought it was an intersection.

for a while their official icon illustrated an example of this

One time google maps told me to walk through an Air Force base and I got stopped by armed guards.

last year google maps kept yelling at me to turn around in a parking lot because I gave it the address to a store in a mall and it wanted me to drive inside the mall with my car to get there.
