ways to keep reading despite feeling stupid because the tags you all keep adding have made me realize that my post is being used to self harm:
- recognize that stupidity is a cultural concept leveraged against stigmatized populations who operate from devalued spheres of intelligence
- notice feelings of panic and shame and frustration rising in your body when you encounter a difficult text, react to them like a loving friend who thinks you deserve to learn things
- recognize the conditioning it takes to convince someone they are too stupid to deserve to learn things
- go back and read a difficult text whose meaning and nuances escaped you the first time around after you read two or three more and the first one has had time to cook in your brain
- open your brain’s mouth like a whale shark and cruise through the water digesting anything that gets caught in your filter plates

Egyptian terminators woke up from the universe’s worst power nap and now want everyone and everything off their lawn, which happens to be the whole galaxy.
If the Tyranids weren’t bad enough the Lion finds out Genestealers are also a thing. Who instead of worshipping a corpse or placing extreme devotion and fervor in dark gods decide to place their faith in a being truly worthy of praise, bugs.

I'm so so sick of open world games
Every time a series makes the switch to being open world it's like. Okay that's just what you're gonna have to be from now on huh. Like the Open World is held on such a high pedestal that once you've made the switch you're never going to be allowed to make anything else. Everything just has to homogenize into this one specific gameplay loop of walking the fuck around an open space.
Evil version of myself with bad taste playing an older game with a smaller but more detailed and refined map that acts as its own elaborate puzzle and story telling device and is satisfying to progress through: "I sure do wish I had the player freedom to walk through a field aimlessly so I could find one of six types of collectibles right about now"
