Motaz has been forced to evacuate Gaza for many reasons (you can listen/see his updates on X). Motaz, like his fellow colleagues, are incredible human beings -for not just the work they do/their reporting during this time where IOF violence is relentless and despicable, but for their hopes and dreams and the way they comfort and support their communities -especially to all those little kids they sing, talk with, and play little games/sports with at refugee camps. You are so cared for and loved by many Motaz, and we are all wishing for your safety and wellness, like for all Palestinian journalists and their families.

Keep fighting for Gaza, and thank you, Motaz.

Throughout the last 32 years: My relatives used to call my brother "Bujja" which means the fat child due to my mother's continuous efforts to feed him all the time.. It doesn't matter if you are full or starving.. There is always something you have to eat.. In this photo you can see my mother cutting the meat into smaller pieces to make it more easy to eat and of course to encourage my brother to do so.. Feeding us was always her concern and clearest way to show love and care. With any kind of food you may think of.. From her delicious meals to her famous sweets.. You would always find her working on preparing something for you. Even after the time my brother got married, nothing changed.. She kept her habit and the first usual question when she sees him: Are you hungry? Should I prepare you food?..

Since the last 3 months: With me being in Istanbul and with my mother and brother separation after the bombing of our house.. no one of us knows anything about the other. Yeah, maybe I know until this moment according to the news updates my mother still alive.

Do not support the Tumblr brand.

Tumblr has shown itself to be pro-Israel and has been spreading pro-Israel propaganda.

Some have been leaving this site altogether in light of this news, others have been minimizing their posting to only be about Palestine (and not only due to the global strike), etc.

Regardless of what you do or don't do on this site, one thing should be absolutely clear:

Do not support the Tumblr brand in any way, shape, or form.

Do not give them your money, do not give them positive reviews, do not speak positively of the staff, none of that.

Continue spreading support for Palestine. Continue uplifting Palestinian voices. Shout out Palestinian creators.
