What type of music do you believe Sonic, Tails, Knux, Amy, Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic and co. would listen to?
It’s pretty much established by the twitter takeover that Sonic loves some good ol’ rock; I can see him jamming to Crush 40′s music especially. Heck he’d whip out his guitar and play to his heart’s content! Personally, I like to think that Sonic appreciates all types of music worldwide since he likes to travel and find new things everyday.
As for the rest, I believe Tails would like to listen to music that’d help him concentrate when working on his latest contraption such as off vocal melodies or something like that. I can see him listening to some classic piano or orchestra too. During Christmas, he’d be a total child and listen to carols all day and sing along with them~
I like to think that Knuckles would prefer to stay away from modern music as much as he can, appreciating the sound of nature on his island or any potential echidna tribal music? I can see him dipping into smooth jazz once in a while, something calm and cool or maybe some rap too? I wanna see Knuckles rap.
Amy would be very into pop, always listening to the latest music that iconic singers and musicians release and so on. I could also see her listening to slow, meaningful songs that she could relate to? I totally see that she’s a big fan of Ariana Grande lmao.
The twitter takeover did mention what Eggman is into but it seems to have slipped my mind and I’m way too lazy to search it up. I think it’d be a hilarious concept for him to indulge into his own theme song. You know what? He’d totally do that. His phone rings and all you’ll hear is: “I AM THE EGGMAN! THAT’S WHAT I AM! I AM THE EGGMAN! I GOT THE MASTER PLAN! JIBBA DA! JIBBA DA!” I lowkey wanna see that happen hahah.
Now Metal…what the hell do robots listen to? DEATH METAL???? Or would he be just like Sonic and enjoy rock as well? Oof.
