About Daredevil,yes it a shred universe but more important it's a shared CITY so it's stupid not to have other heroes involved, again this should be common sense
By that logic, we should only publish one comic, called either AVENGERS or MARVEL UNIVERSE, and every story should be in it, because every story would need to account for every character. That way lies madness.
When Galactus first came to Earth in New York City, the Fantastic Four battled him. And it worked fine—despite the fact that the Avengers and Spider-man and the X-Men and Daredevil weren’t so much as mentioned. It wasn’t their story. You can place too much importance on the universe (also read: continuity) as opposed to the story. And especially in the case of that DAREDEVIL story, which concerns a secret conspiracy. One of the most apparent characteristics of a secret conspiracy is that it’s a secret.
Actually i have been a serious advocate for a one-title comic universe. Calling it all “Marvel Universe” and putting it out as a monthly two-hundred-page magazine would be a really convenient way of getting all that narrative to the customer in a nice and convenient package
I mentioned this in an interview before. I think it would be dope if a digest dropped every week. Each digest would feature a particular line of books that relate to each other ie mutant books, marvel super hero books, spider books, marvel knights or whatever... They could each drop weekly or stagger. After a season is done, the individual stories could be collected into trades. I don't see this ever happening because it would diminish the real estate; companies battle for control of the walls/customers eyes by having lots of titles. Actually the only way I see this happening is as an appeal to another market in conjunction with the strategy already in use. If I had the opportunity to do large scale comics, this is how I would do it; this is probably the only way I could read these types of comics. I have several other ideas that I'd implement too.
