This evergreen Digitalis canariensis (Canary Island foxglove, Isoplexis canariensis) survived the winter with the protection of an unheated glasshouse. Although capable of surviving a temperature as low as -4C, it is best to avoid freezing temperatures wherever possible and to use a free draining compost.
