Some psychiatrists use Anakin Skywalker as an example of Borderline Personality Disorder.

He portrays the disorder not so much because of him transforming into Darth Vader and killing, but rather because of some symptoms and general reactions outside of that. Lets not contribute to any stigma here. It’s not to say he was consciously created with BPD in mind, but he definitely portrays features throughout the movie and allows for awareness and another perspective. Personally for a few years now, and as also a psych student, Anakin has been one of my favorite characters portraying BPD.
