I ACTUALLY KNOW EXACTLY HOW THIS HAPPENED.

When typing up the instructions, the pharmacist or technician was probably using shorthand in the computer, which automatically translates into text a patient can understand. The shorthand for this would have originally been ‘2 pfs po q4h prn hs’, where ‘prn’ stands for ‘as needed’. And there was a typo, so ‘prn’ became ‘pr’, which stands for ‘per rectum’ (aka rectally). I’ve done this myself on accident with ‘diabetes’ (DIAB) and ‘diarrhea’ (DIA), as well as prn and pr. 

…And that was your medical jargon lesson for the day, kiddies.

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday.

I started my animal crossing town over again. I named it “Hyrule,” after the first town I ever had. If there is anyone who still plays ACNL and wouldn’t mind coming over to my town to donate some fruits (and maybe a few bells,) I’d appreciate it!

Mostly now-a-days I play ACNL during my downtime with life, when I don’t have my son with me. I’m debating going to nursing school to be a pediatric nurse, with a preference for infants. Anyway uhh yeah. 😅

Hey folks!

Thinking of starting my town over on New Leaf and keeping a small blog update on how it goes. Even if I do I feel that I’ll end up neglecting the updates. Mostly because of my son. He takes up most of my love and time. Love him to death. He’s 6 1/2 months old now! They grow quick! Let me know if you would like to see this happen—I’m pretty sure all my followers are gone tho :/
