I started learning cross stitch about the same time r/place took place, and one of the first big projects I ever wanted to work on was the art of Techno up there. I never got around to it until July.
Can you believe that it's July again? It feels like a lifetime ago.
In memoriam: Technoblade
This post is a memorial to Technoblade, the man this blog was dedicated to. He was an amazing guy, one of the funniest, wittiest and kindest people in our community. He improved the lives of so many of us just by being himself and I will forever be grateful that he shared himself with us. As I am sure many of you are grateful as well.
My condolences go out to his family, who lost an amazing and talented son and brother.
My condolences go out to his friends, who lost a kind, genuine, hilarious and accepting friend and, in some cases, sleepily acquired family member.
My condolences go out to his fans and community, who lost an amazing entertainer, role model and someone who could brighten their mood with just a word, or a laugh, or a “HEH?!”

today is just 1st, today is what would've been technoblade's 24th birthday and it feels surreal he's no longer with us.
he touched so many people, changed so many lives, and made an impact on the minecraft youtube community that will never fade. despite everything, he leaves behind an amazing legacy full of accomplishments and kindness and humor, a community known for their generosity, and content people turn to even now for comfort.
and in that way, he's still with us. each one of us carries on his memory and legacy, always to be missed, yes, but always to be loved and treasured for the amazing person he was and the things he did.
i know he's looking down at us, amazed at how far we've come. happy birthday, techno. we love you and we miss you.

also finally got around to finishing someone very important today !!!!
techno is entirely hand-sewn and weighted with beans so that he sits up. his shoulders and hips are articulated with buttons so his limbs can move . hes made of fleece so hes nice and soft to hug :3
i started sewing this doll (stuffed animal?) when techno's passing was released to the world and could never quite find the willpower to finish up his cloak or crown. but now hes complete for the big guys birthday
now he and ranboo stand guard of tommy in my curio cabinet , who both were also finished up today :3
The fact that I finished his design today is a great coincidence Anyway Happy birthday, King!
