If you like comics and/or wrestling I have a couple podcasts for you. I support these shows on Patreon and I want them to grow so if you want to give them a shot I would appreciate it a lot. They’re both part of an indie podcast network called Dragon Wagon Radio which is completely supported by patrons like me, and well. I’d like them to grow!
If you like wrestling there’s Pro Wrestling Palskis. This is the little engine that could, having been around since 2014, albeit under a different name. I’ve listened pretty much since the beginning and the current hosts are fun and the shows format is one of my favorites. I don’t agree with them all the time but I love the show dearly. Jake and Scott are honest but also fans of wrestling, Jake even used to wrestle! They even have a hotline where you can ask questions or leave silly comments and such.
If you like comics, there’s Coycast. Coycast is named after the host Coy Jandreau, who does a lot of pop culture stuff on YouTube, IG, Twitter, and tiktok. His co-host, Producer Jake (who is also the host of Pro Wrestling Palskis by the by), is the founder of DWR and while I razz him a lot in the Discord, he’s a wonderful addition to the show and they have great chemistry. They talk about movie news and also have a week where people call the hotline (much like PW Palskis) and ask absurd questions or play silly games with the hosts. One time I asked who they would cast Tom Hanks as in a comic movie.
