been looking at the old Bill Cipher reddit AMA and there's so much gold but this is by far my absolute favorite

if I was an npc in a modern day urban fantasy jrpg my dialogue would be something along the lines of "it's a conk eat crete world out there, baybeeeeeeee"

Not gonna judge anyone for their personal interpretations of fictional characters but it IS wild to me when folks headcanon Gordon Freeman as this dark unhinged murder man when this is how he reacts to holding a big bug in the middle of fighting his way out of a traumatic apocalyptic event

Got totk today bc first heatwave of the summer had started and I need something to pass the time

First impressions are a bit underwhelming. I'm sure I'll get into it more later but my general feeling is that it's not as new and exciting as botw was when I first played it, which ofc was going to be very difficult to live up to. I find construction to be fun but with how the controls are and how obligatory it is to progress, I found it lost the sense of novelty and felt a bit tedious to me.

Graphics are nice, controls feel tight and snappy, and I really like the new aesthetics. Physics feel more well polished than botw which is needed for how much character object interaction is a thing.

there’s a guy at work who’s forcing everyone in the breakroom to gender me right by yelling my name at any given moment

he also said he was sorry he read my deadname on the worksheet but was “going to get black out drunk and probably forget dw”

edit : im a trans guy, im out and on T but im very short that’s why my buddy asserts my gender for me i repeat he’s not outing me he’s doing it to keep me from being misgendered

so what do u think about plays

i like how in a theatre time and space are necessarily metaphorical. i don’t like how plays always have to begin with someone walking onstage and talking. too many directors try to work around this by having someone walk onstage and brood in silence for a moment before talking. this is worse.

If you were directing a play, how would it begin?

bagpipes at the back of the auditorium so everyone turns their heads and when they’ve turned back around the play has already begun
