all throughout his puppyhood, i told Churchgrim that if he listened, and learned to be very well behaved, that he would be allowed to go places with people, and that the rewards would be wonderful beyond his wildest imagining. and today, at his second barbeque of the weekend, being fed bits of marinated short ribs and called "handsome" by a nice man he just met, i think he finally understands what i was talking about. all his good boy chickens are finally coming home to roost.
