A stupid headcannon that my friends and I came up with when we were playing one day. Every time we throw a grenade into a bug hole we always go "Kobe!" Eventually I asked, "Do you think Helldivers actually shout out 'Kobe' whenever they're doing this? The game takes place in the distant future, right? What if they all forgot who Kobe Bryant was and now Super Earth has touted him as a legendary Helldiver of old who never missed a grenade throw?" to which my friends all told me that it was a stupid idea and that they love it, so I figured I'd share it here with y'all.
