Kuroo Tetsurou (23M) was having a great afternoon.
The temperature just dropped this morning and the faint sound of the weather forecast playing in the background while he was cooking breakfast let him know that sometime by tonight, the city of Tokyo would welcome its first snowfall of the year.
It was probably very chilly outside, but it was none of his business. Kuroo sighed to himself in content as he found the perfect spot on his couch where the winter sun was shining through, squishing his face against the throw pillow he randomly picked up from next to him before curling his body that was far too large to be put in this position on the limited space he was laying on.
Winter afternoons were made for people to nap through.
One exasperated groan from far down the corridor disrupted him from slowly sinking into the sweet embrace of his sleep. He peeked up from his tiny pillow when he heard your footsteps nearing.
“How did you do it?” you asked with a huff, spitting your words out that he nearly missed what you just said.
“Do what?”
“University.”
Kuroo, freshly graduated from his own university course just last spring, looked up at the ceiling as he pondered what time it was in the academic year. Ah right, end of term season.
No wonder why you looked so drained.
He shrugged, hugging the pillow closer to his chest in the process. “Don’t remember,” he fought back the grin that was climbing onto his face at the eye roll you sent his way almost immediately, “it has been a while since I stepped into a campus.”
“Seniors who flex are the worst,” you clicked your tongue, furrowing your eyebrows at your boyfriend as your crossed your arm in front of your chest.
“You’ll be fine,” he said in his sing-song voice, rolling to his side before opening his arms to you, “here, I’ll let you rest in my loving embrace as a recharge-”
You swung the nearest pillow you could reach towards him and the sharp cackle that followed made you feel just a little bit more alive after burying your face in the pages and pages of sources you desperately tried to read through.
“So?” Kuroo wiggled his eyebrows as he patted the empty space in front of him when he saw the playful smile that danced on your face.
“I have to wait for my similarity report.”
“Oh, shut up,” he snorted, letting one leg dangle off the couch as he leaned over to reach for your wrist.
One tug had your knees landing on the soft cushions. He swiftly pushed your shoulder back he had you right against his chest, his long legs tangled with yours as he snaked his arm around your waist. The warmth of his body was like a blanket, soothing away the knots in your head. You could still feel the faint lines under his shirt from years of sports, pulsing and raising behind you with each inhale.
“What’s the point of finishing your work if you don’t reward yourself afterwards…” he mumbled against your neck, rubbing his nose against your jaw in content as you shifted closer to him to adjust the position you were in until your bodies molded together perfectly.

Am I the only one that doesn’t think Loki is narcissistic? I think he craves atttention because he doesn’t have enough. He feels neglected and tries to make things about himself to attract attention. In the scene where Loki explains his theory to Mobius, he looks like an excited puppy. He is so excited for the possibility that maybe for once he’s right. That behaviour is something that is very common in neglected children. Sif says to Loki that he is alone and always will be alone. His whole life he had no real friends and the only person that ever believed in him was Frigga. He was always overlooked and lived in the shadows of Thor’s greatness. Loki said that he hurts people as a part of the illusion for a desperate attempt at having the control that he has never had. A narcissist would never be able to admit this and would not even believe it. Narcissism by definition is the pursuit of gratification from vanity or egotistic admiration of one's idealised self-image and attributes. We know that this is not Loki because from what we’ve seen throughout the mcu is that he does not think of himself as amazing. He is self-critical and insecure. Throughout his lifetime, he has been told over and over again that he is not enough and I think that he may say “I am a god” and “I am burdened with glorious purpose” to convince himself and others that he is great. Loki is not narcissistic, he hides his insecurities behind a shield that resembles narcissism.
