every passage i read online from new JK rowling stuff is like...... legitimately bad, prose-wise? like i don't mean to conflate the goodness of ones beliefs with one's talent as a creator; many good artists are also bad people. but also.... was her prose always this bad???? like i remember harry potter having problems but i don't remember it being atrocious in terms of just the quality of the writing. is it just more apparent when she's writing stuff for adults?????
