dao companions when they have low approval : you have,,broken my trust,, I will leave you :( goodbye…may you become a better person or die in a ditch

dai companions when they have low approval: I won’t leave but just know that I fucking HATE you. If not for the anchor I’d stab you myself. Fuck you

da2 companions when they have low approval: haha no don’t go against all my morals you’re so sexy aha

being racist should be a fireable offense actually

it makes you completely unfit to work with the public or in a group setting. there are very few professions where prejudices will not invariably bleed into a persons work choices. i know “quality of work” is all we care about in this capitalist dystopia, while quality of life counts for nill, and even by those standards, bigoted attitudes should make a person unemployable

There are no other mainstream pokemon games after Black and White

no pokemon moon exists if only to be constant proof that pokemon dating humans is canon. it’s the worst pokemon fact i know and i require moon to really seal the deal when unleashing that psychic energy on ppl.

I am begging you to please elaborate

1. Okay, so, in Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl, and Pokémon Platinum, there’s a library in Canalave City, the Canalave Library. On the back shelves of the brown bookcases full of green books on the right-hand side of the room with the big brown reading table with red chairs in it, there’s a book called “Sinnoh Folk Stories 3″. The English translation follows: “There once were Pokémon that became very close to humans. There once were humans and Pokémon that ate together at the same table. It was a time when there existed no differences to distinguish the two.” However, the original Japanese says something WAY DIFFERENT: [ ひとと けっこんした ポケモンがいた ポケモンと けっこんした ひとがいた むかしは ひとも ポケモンも おなじだったから ふつうのことだった] “There were Pokémon that would marry people There were people that would marry Pokémon Once upon a time, it was like this, because people and Pokémon were the same”

2. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, there’s a girl in the southwest corner of one of the towns in a light green sundress with a big straw hat on, she has long black hair. If you talk to her, she tells you a story of how she broke her ankle while swimming and this super hot wonderful guy saved her life. She then tells you that if you return in 5 days, you can meet him.

When you return in 5 days, he’s a Machamp.

3. The official Pokémon Japan website has a section for “Kairiky Gym Girl’s Talk” and this one is literally all about how and why the girls interviewed are in love with Machamp https://www.pokemon.jp/special/kairiky_gym/girlstalk/

TL;DR: Pokémon have a legal level of personhood in the Pokémon universe that permits (or permitted, depending on which region you’re in) them to consent to romantic and sexual relationships with humans, due to their shared creation origin myth.

Horrifying thank you

holes 2003 truly did it all.... the tackling of the prison industrial complex done in a way that was appropriate and understandable for kids while also pulling no punches...,, the full cast of well written kids of color... the drama, romance, and mystery to keep it fresh while also handling the heavy focus of racism.. the seamless weaving of the a and b plots... sigourney weaver looking like That. cinemas finest.

Hey so uh,

As a trans guy who’s been working out for a few years now and has learned a lot about their body and building muscle and whatnot in the process, here’s something I don’t see mentioned, like ever.

Abs don’t really look Like That™ when they’re relaxed.

I rarely see male body positivity posts in general but I’ve never seen this mentioned, and honestly? Call me stupid for it if you want, but I genuinely thought that super defined look was something that was achievable in a relaxed state, simply because I’ve never seen anything to the contrary.

As someone with body dysmorphia as well as dysphoria, you can imagine the damaging effects that might have had on my mental health trying by to achieve the impossible. I can only imagine how many other masculine folk out there could be struggling with the exact same thing.

Anyway like, this is mostly to point out for masculine folks that might be pushing themselves too hard, that you’re probably doing better than you realise.

Anecdotal stuff aside, this is an important thing for artists to remember as well! This is something I never realised despite being an artist that goes to figure drawing classes on the regular and having modelled for them myself- because of course people with abs are flexing for the poses! I was doing it too! - Admin Pasta

I was a touch confused for a number of years because I’m fat and have a squish tummy, but if I flexed I’d have fucking rock hard abs (still not visible cause I’m fat, but hey).

Yeah, ever since I hurt my back, my abs have been as hard as a butcher block under the pudge, when I am using them. I like to think I’m like a very expensive mattress with the firm supportive layer and the pillowtop.

I wrote a whole thesis on this crap centered around the way media erases tummies

The thing that I always repeat when my friends complain about their tummies, and when I catch myself being insecure about mine, is the whole “your important organs are there. You need protection for them, of course you have a tummy!”

@glamorous-thespian that’s so cute omg 😭😭

But yeah, I didn’t find this out until recently too. I also have dysphoria and dysmorphia so I wish there was more awareness of this kind of thing. I think the relaxed tummies look so cute and powerful!!

can we all appreciate this picture donald has in the houseboat. i firmly believe that they were all told to strike poses and Louie consciously decided to pose like he didn’t know what was happening because thats what I always did when i was twelve and apparently im louie

Inuit children at boarding school. The sign on the wall behind them reads, “Please do not speak Eskimo.” (1914)

Avatar

This reminds me of how whole sects of complex Inuktitut dialects were wiped out by Euro settlers. There were hundreds of different and diverse dialects in Canadian Inuktitut languages alone, and a chunk of that was wiped out during early 20th century. That language is already on the brink of collapse (only 35,000 or so now loosely speak it).

They also took away not just their language, but their surnames, and replaced them with ID-numbers. As if taking their children and capturing them into residential schools (where they were systematically gaslighted, sexually abused and experimented on the regular) wasn’t enough, an Inuit child’s name was legit changed to something like “Annie E7-121.”

“Eskimo” is considered a slur here in most of Canada, because of the treatment of Inuit people and creation of the E-number, which was used to segregate and degrade and dehumanize Inuit people into the 70s.

Remember why you shouldn’t use slurs and who they offend. I’m looking at you Edmonton.

I haven't been able to stop thinking abt this vid I love this kittykat so much... She looks like she's in HEAVEN 🥺

Important

Adding this because they’re safe for dogs too

How are turkey skin and bones not safe? Please elaborate.

Avatar

Dunno about skin, but Turkey bones, and avian bones in general, are really easy to shatter. If a dog eats said shards, it could tear up their insides.

Important for all pet users!!

The skin is very fatty and can lead to diarrhea, vomiting, and/or pancreatitis. Pancreatitis can lead to a very expensive hospital stay, and is quite painful. When in doubt, best not to feed human food.

Important PSA for this (and every) holiday season! As someone with dogs and cats in her life, both of these are nice to have on hand!
