I name this post of mine:

"Punching war and racism in the stomach". During the past few days there was a Turkish military operation against Kurds in the Syrian Borders. The news were spread like wildfire on social media. That's when I first started finding out more and more hate posts either towards Turkish or towards Syrian and Kurds.

My friend and roommate Arda is Turkish, I'm Greek, there is no such thing as conflict between us.

This fact doesn't make him: An ISIS member, a terrorist, a warlike piece of crap, or a fascist.

My roommate is Turkish and he's a talented musician, without any trace of hate in his heart.

My roommate is Turkish and he feels shame for the fascists governors that rule some countries in the world.

My roommate is Turkish and although he's not religious, he respects every single culture and religion.

My roommate is Turkish and he has nothing to do with ISIS, Erdogan, Trump, Kim Jong Un or Hitler.

My dear friend and fellow roommate is Turkish and his nationality has nothing to do with who he is as a person and his beliefs.

Every single human being was accidentally born in a country.

None of us chose to be born Greek, or Turkish, or French, or Malaysian. My friend and I will keep being friends with each-other and with a 100 more foreign musicians and interesting people. I've been playing music since I was a little kid, I will keep learning things about music until I die, but the one thing I know for sure is that music unites nations, people, religions. In music there is no hate, no borders, no wars. In this video me and my Turkish friend improvise and tear apart every single type of stereotype and stigma out there. You should do the same!! "Hate is baggage.Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it." (American History X)
