Result from the Ngorora formation #paleostream! Looks all nearly normal until you put Megistotherium into the mix and you realize that that weird deer is actually a giraffe, some rhinos have tusks and the hyraxes and sheep sized.

Before anyone says anything: YES, Megistotherium was that large compared to the Deinotherium found in this formation.

Williamsoniella coronata surviving ashfall, an adult Diplodocus based on preserved scales on a juvenile specimen, Nursallia in Cretaceous Lebanon and Asteriornis nesting in a mosasaur.

Known as the Jarkov Mammoth, this specimen was found in Siberia. The 23 tonne block of mud and ice was lifted to an ice cave where the mammoth inside was recovered and studied.
Trying to show or at least give a feeling of size in extinct animals can be tricky without a human next to the critter. That's why I made this quick second version of my Ichthyotitan piece. Size and shape is of course partially speculative. Take it with a grain of salt!
Based on the surangular I estimated a lower jaw length of roughly 4,5 meters.

Detail shots. The middle one was basically the whole driver for this piece, everything was planned around the Aegirocassis swooping in.
The majesty and sheer size of these creatures still baffles me, large specimens could be a little over 2 meter long, they dwarfed everything in their world.
