@solarcitymelodies​​ wrote an awesome post about the theory that KARR is nonbinary. Besides the iconic “Don’t call me ‘boy'” quote, I’ve noticed a few other things that support the headcanon.

In Trust Doesn’t Rust, KARR ignored whatever Tony and Rev called him (“it,” “stupid hunk of tin,” and “sweetheart”). He let others define him and rarely argued. That’s a contrast to KITT vs. KARR, when he gained the confidence to speak up for himself and say how he wanted to be referred to.

He doesn’t mind he/him pronouns, they’re convenient and familiar to him. He’s masc-presenting, but he’s not a “boy.” It makes sense that he’s comfortable with they/them pronouns too. Also, he knows singular they/them is grammatically correct; he says “them” instead of “him or her.”

KARR’s character arc also adds to the vibes. In KvK, he decided to change his appearance to better suit his individual identity and to distance himself from the past. His original voice was also changed, and though canon doesn’t mention it, it can be assumed he chose his new voice.

His identity isn’t based on how other people perceive him. In TDR, he said he’s “not just a car.” In KvK, he said he’s “not a car.” He learned to define himself instead of letting the world do it for him.

Kitt liking both classical symphonies AND thrash metal because both genres have a ton of musical nuance that the average listener doesn’t notice but Kitt would love to pick apart while he’s listening to it.

I call this headcanon “Bonnie getting whiplash whenever she asks Kitt to pick the music while she’s working on him.”

Also wouldn't being a literal car kinda mess with your idea of gender identity ,,, just saying ,,, like I honestly think he just goes by he/him because that's what everyone calls him by I don't think he really has a Connection with it at all whereas with Kitt I feel like he would have that connection with it and yes this is completely baseless other than the Vibes I get, why do you ask? But basically yes I feel like Kitt has more of an actual connection with pronouns n such but Karr doesn't really get it or understand why anyone cares he's just like "they're literally just words guys what does it matter :/" until he figures out that APPARENTLY not everybody thinks about it like that

I have no idea how he'd figure out they/them pronouns even exist I just feel like he'd kinda vibe with them and be like "cool I can use these too" because like .... he already knows he doesn't really care either way but he doesn't really feel right using she/her because that would just be objectively strange for him and everyone involved so. he's just vibin now

Bonnie Barstow because she’s my favourite character and there’s nothing you can do to stop me drawing her continually.  I saw Clone High JFK’s eyes and lost my mind a bit so now when I draw Bonnie she has the slanted eyes.
