I loved the news Tales of the Empire episodes. I was just bawling my eyes out during the hour long car ride home.
After Barriss was tossed off so cruelly in tcw, and hearing that other ahsoka book writer talk about how she wanted to make her even more violent than Saw, it was really really nice to see this story let her keep a kind heart and grow old and find redemption. I truly didn't expect that and it was such a nice relief.
11 years after her last onscreen appearance, and now we are actually seeing her back.
And no more despair.
