Made a drawing of some of the different types of paint brushes that are out there. Also wrote down a brief description on each at the bottom for anyone who wants to learn about them.
Round: This could be said to be the most traditional paint brush, it’s great for details, fills, washes, and to create thin to thick lines by letting the tip become wider as you pressed down on it. It works best with thin paint rather than thick paint.
Flat: Medium to long bristles with a square end. It’s great for washes, filling wide spaces and to create bold strokes.
Bright: Short bristles with edges curved inward at the tip. Great for controlled strokes. Works best with thick, heavy paint.
Filbert: Medium to long bristles and an oval-shaped end. Great for blending, can be use for detail as well.
Fan: Flat thin layer of spread bristles. Great for blending and smoothing. It can also be used for textural effects.
Angled: Flat angled bristles at the end. Great for filling corners and curved strokes. Reaches small areas with tip and it can be use to cover big spaces as well, similar to the flat brush.
Mop: Soft and flaccid brush. Great for blending and large washes. This brush has an excellent paint carrying capacity and control.
Rigger: Extremely long bristles with a thin point, but it can also have a square or flat tip. Excellent for producing fine lines. Great for signing your name on your finished painting.

i bleed each month to help make humankind a possibility. my womb is home to the divine. a source of life for our species. whether i choose to create or not. but very few times it is seen that way. in older civilizations this blood was considered holy. in some it still is. but a majority of people. societies. and communities shun this natural process. some are more comfortable with the pornification of women. the sexualization of women. the violence and degradation of women than this. they cannot be bothered to express their disgust about all that. but will be angered and bothered by this. we menstruate and they see it as dirty. attention seeking. sick. a burden. as if this process is less natural than breathing. as if it is not a bridge between this universe and the last. as if this process is not love. labour. life. selfless and strikingly beautiful.
FAV POST EVER

pls adopt old dogs from shelters they’re very low maintenance most of the time and they deserve love as much as any puppy. if ur worried about them not being a “forever friend” that’s ok! u’d be surprised how quickly u’ll bond with ur doggy if u put in the time and love they need. adopt old dogs, they don’t deserve to spend the rest of their lives in a shelter.
