I'm terribly sorry for doing this even though I barely use this blog, but my family and I need help desperately.

Our landlord is a little dense, for lack of better term. Our lease for the house we're staying in ends June 30th, 2023. Two thousand twenty THREE. Every piece of documentation my parents had signed has said the same thing, but our landlord swears up and down that it ends THIS year instead.

Basically, long story short, we have to move out on a short notice.

It's obvious that this is pretty illegal, and we've been great tenants. We've paid our rent on time and have never been a bother to anyone. But he's stubborn and really dumb and he's kicking us out when we're already at an all-time low financially. We have nowhere to go. Why would we? This was completely out of the blue.

So I've set up a GoFundMe for this. It'll pay for an attorney, even if we really do have to move anyway. It will also help with little things such as food, and gas, since we'll have to travel more. If we can fight this before the 30th, we won't lose our home and we'll have a year more to truly prepare ourselves to leave. I've honestly never really done something like this before, but I don't know what else to do and this is really freaking me out. This has happened to us before and I'm scared that we'll end up homeless again, this time in a pandemic.

What so like a cis het allo person can just call themselves queer now?

What problem, exactly, are you so concerned about? I don’t know if you’ve noticed but queerness is still very much marginalized, it’s not as “trendy” as people try to act, and straight people aren’t tripping over themselves to call themselves queer. And if you’re worried about being “tricked” by “infiltrators”, like, you know those people can just say that they’re gay? Like they can lie? They’re not going to try and “sabotage” queer spaces by saying “hey I don’t have any marginalized orientations or identities but I’m still totally queer”, they’d just say “hey I’m super gay, love people of the same gender”

What, concretely, are you worried about happening? What’s the worst thing that could happen due to inclusivity? Because the worst things that can happen due to gatekeeping are very well-known, and I’m much more scared of that

It’s less that it’s trendy and more like, I like having my queer-only spaces. Also queer is a bad word. All our words are bad words. They aren’t oppressed, and for a cishetallo to use a slur as their identity feels a little demeaning to me. Like I dont hate them of course but the A was never for Ally . It’s not queer to be normal

Interacting with them is cool and having them at pride I’m not opposed to but as a person who’s queer it does feel like they’re kinda dressing it up

Okay I would just like to make this a really serious post and say that this should be brought to everyone’s attention. I’ve been struggling with my identity JUST BECAUSE people hate cis people for this reason. That is absolutely stupid and if you think like this you can unfollow me right now because that really pisses me off. Not all cis people are fucking homophobic.

I know you’re like a kid or whatever, but this isn’t about you. You are NOT oppressed for being cis, and trans people aren’t bad for joking about disliking the people who systematically make our lives worse. You getting broken up over trans people using a harmless coping mechanism, is, frankly, not our problem. Cis people are not murdered, harassed, or oppressed for being cis. Trans people are.

Not all cis people are like that. That's all I'm gonna say. I know my experience isn't universal, but neither is anyone else's.

I was experiencing all these weird things, including my body uncontrollably sliding across the floor, hallucinations, and memory loss. Everyone thought it was because I was drunk.
