sometimes the most heartbreaking thing in education is seeing a child try their absolute best even with their low academic ability-sometimes to the point of crying theyre so frustrated- and you just know the parents don't really care how they do in school because their child has life skills instead. like yeah I know being able to chop wood at age 9 is impressive but acknowledge that your kid is making gigantic leaps in progress off their own back because you clearly can't be bothered to bring help home

tl;dr support the school children in your life, it makes the difference

#help your kids with their homework. praise your kids for the crappy descriptive writing pieces they bring home. lift them up.#take interest in what they care about#also read with your damn children my god thats so important#schools can only do so much in the time frame we have your children for#yes some lessons are fucking ridiculous like fronted adverbials and stuff but BRO if your kid is trying try and support the effort#stop talking helena

Pride needs more fun activities that you can enjoy while drinking or sober. There should be ring toss booths and ski ball and other carnival type stuff.
