🌀What would you do if someone took one of your limbs, blended it, and forced you to drink it?🌀

Hi

I just wanna say a lot of things about how I work so that no one gets hurt. This is the disclaimer about me so that you know what you're getting yourself into.

  1. You can call me King or Ash. I don't care which. But only King or Ash please.
  2. my pronouns are he/they/void. If you want help with using any of my pronouns, just ask! (:
  3. I use tone indicators. I don't want anyone to get confused as to the tone I am using.

Have a good rest of your 24 hours for today! (Please genuinely have a good rest of your 24 hours for today.)

inside you, young transmasculine person, is a voice that will tell you not to like certain things because they're For Girls. that is the voice of the devil, and you must never listen to it.

for those that need it:

inside you, young transfeminine person, is a voice that will tell you not to like certain things because they're Too Manly. that is the voice of the devil, and you must never listen to it.

for the nonbinaries out there:

inside you, young human, is a heart. Also probably a gallbladder, two kidneys, a liver, and some ribs. Keep them inside you, unless they mutiny and attempt to fabricate your demise. Even then, let a licensed medical professional handle the removal of your angry organ(s).

For literally everyone:

Inside you is a voice that will try to tell you not to like certain things or do certain things because it's socially unacceptable. This is a Very Bad Thing, and it wants to hurt you. Tie it up, stuff a sock or two in it's sound holes and tape those sound holes shut with duct tape.

ALWAYS REBLOG WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS PLEASE; ITS SO MUCH MORE THAN IMPORTANT TO PEOPLE. IT MEANS EVERYTHING TO SOMEBODY AND EVEN THOUGH YOU MIGHT NOT SEE THIS IN THE SAME LIGHT, SOMEONE MIGHT. INFACT YOU REBLOGGING THIS COULD STOP SOMEONE TAKING THEIR LIFE TONIGHT.

I noticed there isn’t one here for Ireland, so

Irish free suicide helpline: 01-116 123

last time i reblogged this, i got this ask:

so please, please reblog. this could actually save a life.

Check the notes, some people have added hotlines that aren’t listed here.

These numbers are important to know! They have saved my life more times than I want to admit. And if you don’t want to call these hotlines, message me! I will help you any way that I can. Or talk to someone that you can trust.

SOMEONE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU 💗

trans suicide prevention hotline: 877-565-8860

canada: 833-456-4566

i didn’t see one for slovakia so

0800-800-566 (adults)

0800-500-333 (youth)

116111 (youth and kids)

New US number in July: 988

the trevor project (for queer and questioning youth)

This is important, reblog!

if it’s needed

Let me make this post about accessibility a bit more accessible./hj

[ID: an list titled “Tone Tags” with the subtitle “These help neurodivergent people as well as others who simply need help conveying tone of voice over text” List is as follows:

/j = joking

/hj = half-joking

/ij = inside joke

/c = copypasta

/ly = lyrics

/t = teasing

/lh = light-hearted

/s = sarcasm

/rt = rhetorical question

/srs = serious

/g = genuine

/r = romantic

/p = platonic

/neg = negative connotation

/pos = positive connotation

At the end of the list is a subtitle reading “These might seem silly, but they prevent distress created by missing social cues” End ID]

Note from the IDer: Positive and negative connotation are very much like the trend of putting (affectionate) and (derogatory) after nouns.

I have seen "/gen" as "genuine", too!

reblogging cause i forget what these mean and other people probably do too.

Reblogging to save it for later

Wow wtf HIV/AIDS was discovered by Flossie Wong-Staal, an Chinese-American woman, and she’s the reason the HIV test even exists. AND THEN she invented the molecular knife that lead to treatments for HIV/AIDS. And she’s STILL ALIVE. We don’t hear about the contributions of Women of Color enough, my word. Madness.

Thank you, Flossie. 💜💜💜

A random thing that makes me upset

because I don't understand it:

the expression "pardon my french" and then cussing. like, that's incredibly rude, and I'm pretty sure that counts as discrimination against francophones and the french language as groups. If you're going to use the expression, follow it with actual french, or don't use the expression at all.

(Note: I'm aware of the fact that this post can be interpreted as me gatekeeping the french language or the expression "pardon my french". My intention is not to gatekeep, but to say "hey, this is a thing that irritates me. Feel free to share some random little thing that irritates you in the replies / reblogs." Just wanted to clarify that before people shout at me for gatekeeping an expression or a language.)

imo if you’re going to call yourself queer and seek out queer community, you need to let go of the idea that the way people identify, present, and choose to interact with other queer people can be labeled and explained. queerness is about saying “fuck societal norms” and sometimes those societal norms include what you think lesbians, gay men, trans people, women, etc. look like, act like, sleep with, etc. queerness is in direct opposition to hard lines and strict definitions. if you are uncomfortable with that, you’re probably not ready to fully immerse in the queer community. get used to being confused and freaked out. that’s the point. celebrate it.

Early morning are so beautiful it's so mean that they put them in the early morning

I want to wake up with the sun. Why does that time have to always change? Will the sun deities please keep a regular sleep schedule so I can copy it please?

There is no actual, tangible reason why we allow people to starve, to be homeless, to suffer and die needlessly. Food is plentiful. Empty homes are plentiful. Medicine is plentiful. It’s hidden away behind constructs and we pretend those constructs mean something. There is an empty home and a homeless family, give them it. There is a sick child and common medicine to treat it, give it to them. There is a starving person and so much food wasted by corporations or hidden behind a dollar sign, feed them.

I honestly can't understand why we can't just help people. Like, I don't understand the need for money or social norms or anything like that. Why can't we just give everyone equal access to food and water and shelter and healthcare and education and entertainment? Why can't we allow for extra accommodations for different learning styles and disabilities? Why can't we? What was it in our history that made it so unacceptable to provide for everyone equally? I know that it was acceptable among First Nations tribes in North America, and probably a lot of other places at some point. But what changed?

I'll always talk up internet radio stations because I don't think the average person is aware that they're free, can run in your browser (or in any program that can connect to them), work on your phone, run better than a youtube tab, and give you a much better selection of music than you could get from a general algorithmic playlist

(also lots of them have live shows which you can tune into for free)

Avatar

"oughh I follow this blog for weeb stuff not internet radio promo" here. gensokyo radio.

Avatar

oh and also I have to plug yggdrasil. it's cute.

Avatar

the funniest part about this post doing the rounds forever is that I listed two examples of weeb stations out of an attempt not to alienate people unfamiliar with the concept of internet radio, but then it left the target audience, meaning it actually alienates a solid 75% of the of the people seeing the post

Avatar

it also makes me, a pretentious music nerd, look like I only listen to anime music and touhou remixes. so we all lose.

Avatar

compiling a lot of online radios from comments and reblogs, hyperlinked for your convenience

ill edit the post when i find more! ill add this list to my website too!

omg ilysm thanks!
