I had a long plan to eventually get my salary from the high 30k to 100k, stuck to it and accomplished those goals a few years ago. Surprisingly 100k salary is not what I thought it would be lol. Most of it goes to taxes, I can afford better hobbies, nicer watches, more spontaneous vacations or take a flight to go see something I wanted to or eat someplace I wanted to domestically. Putting away money and being financially disciplined will always be a major key no matter how much you make.
