maybe im too dumb but i don’t get what we’re trying to achieve by boycotting… like… bring chuu back?

Boycotting is punishing the company. A boycott is a way that consumers can show their dissatisfaction with a company (or other organisation), because the only language capitalists speak is money. They don't care about letters or petitions or controversy, they only care about making money. To be honest, it's not as though a boycott can completely reform the company and give them a new work culture in which they'll magically start treating the girls right, but by hopefully causing a massive drop in revenue as a result of their mistreatment of the girls, it will hopefully have a harsh economic impact on the staff who typically depend on Orbits' sycophantic monetary support of the group. The girls DO NOT GET PAID - any money you're sending to Blockberry is directly getting put in the pockets of people who have abused the girls for the past 6-10 years. If you want an album or calendar or photocard that badly that you're willing to give money to abusers and criminals, then I think we need to reevaluate.
