The fact that Judaism is trending because of both the wave of bomb threats on synagogues and Bradley Cooper's Antisemitism Adventure (his huge fake prosthetic nose, and him basically stealing the story from a Jewish man) is so infuriating and so exhaustingly typical.
The fact that I see Judaism trending on Tumblr and immediately think "oh no. Something Bad is happening to us." We're never trending cause it's fucking good. I never get to be excited, it's just cold dread.
The fact that Antisemitism is getting worse everyday and the only ones who ever talk about it are other Jews. The fact that no one else fucking cares. The only ones who support us are other Jews. Even when gentiles talk about Nazis or white supremacists they don't want to help us. We're just their prop, the canary in the coal mine and the perfect victim.

When it is actually relevant for you to say it - which, may be rare - just indicate you don't think orthodox jews should vote republican because it's harmful for you, most people, and ultimately themselves (after all, republicans are gleefully continuing climate change like they can't wait to burn everyone to a crisp. also they think that if all jews move to israel the rapture will start, but that's a completely different topic).
Like, I'm serious. This isn't something you need to talk about. Not every subject is something someone needs to talk about. I am a white white white WHITE person. When my best friend, who is Black, talks about intra-Black issues, I listen, but I never offer my opinion, because my opinion does not matter here. And, in turn, in the reverse situation, when I'm talking about intra-Jewish issues, she keeps her opinion to herself because it does not matter here.

Just remind yourself that a) they aren't the source of your problems, and thinking so is antisemitic b) they have no actual power to hurt you and c) they are ultimately the victims of republicans just like you are and d) people are working on the problem and your help isn't needed. Then take a deep breath, look at some nature, and move on.
