TOSHINORI YAGI
It was mid afternoon, and the day was cold. You were home with your boyfriend, Toshinori, who had the day off from work. You two were sprawled out on the couch, flipping through channels on the TV when you stopped on a dancing channel. They were dancing the tango. And also teaching it.
“Hey, Yagi,” you said, smiling a bit. “Let’s do something fun. Let’s learn the tango.”
“Sounds fun.” Toshinori said, getting up. You followed, then the both of you clasped hands. He put his hand on your hip– firm, but gentle– and you softly put your hand on his shoulder.
Your feet tangled, got stepped on, and overall it was a giant mess of limbs getting pretzeled, laughter, and enjoyment from the both of you. He tripped again– this time seemed like it was on purpose– and lightly kissed you. “I love you,” he said your name. You wrapped your arms around his neck in a hug, smiling.
“I love you too, Yagi.”
