Bit (2019) Lesbian girl power vampire movie where the main character is a tgirl played by a tgirl. It’s solid. I find it frustrating that they hint at her being trans without explicitly acknowledging it (and she’s passing as fuck, so it’s easy to not notice), but I know that’s what some of y'all want.
Boy Meets Girl (2014) Cis dude for trans girl love story. Pretty normie, but also you see her fully naked (gock out) at the end.
Funeral Parade of Roses (1969) Extremely 60s. Cool as hell.
Lady Daddy (2010) South Korean romcom about a trans girl played by a cis girl who tries unconvincingly to back pass when she finds out she has a kid. Very cute.
Lingua Franca (2019) written directed and starring Isabel Sandoval. An undocumented trans woman immigrant in New York deals with a cis dude partner being a cis dude. Which is also the plot of The Garden Left Behind (2019).
Myra Breckinridge (1970) Raquel Welch is a trans woman and her goal is the destruction of the last vestigial traces of traditional manhood! It’s Fight Club! It’s Hackers! It’s divisive, but it’s probably my favorite movie!
So Pretty (2019) Literally the first scripted feature length (non pornographic tho it does have cock) film to feature two trans women played by trans women kissing eachother.

The Skin I Live In (2011) A rapist is kidnapped and turned into a girl by a mournful vengeful plastic surgeon. Which was also the plot of Victim (2010). I never really vibe with Pedro Almodóvar movies, but I recognize this is the preeminent forced feminization film.

After you’ve worked your way through the folder then just start doing Google searches for trans films. Look at IMDB keywords and letterboxd lists. There are so many more out there. These are just like my personal picks.
AUGUST 6TH 2023 PATCH NOTES
I added The Garden Left Behind (2019) and The Skin I Live In (2011). Both of which were mentioned in a previous version of the post, but not included.
I also added Gender Troublemakers (1993) to the shorts folder because it looks amazing holy fuck!
I was gonna add a couple other movies, but I didn’t get around to it. Maybe another time.
Most importantly tho! Surrender Dorothy (1998) has gotten a huge update! I MADE SUBTITLES FOR IT! It was never professionally subtitled (the DVD didn’t even have subtitles), so I made my own! I’ve never done that before! It was extremely time consuming!
Next time around I might go through and add subtitles for the rest of the movies. There are several movies that like don’t have subtitle files even though professional subtitles do exist and can be easily pirated.
I also replaced the Surrender Dorothy avi file (which was how I originally came across the movie and was probably what was used for the YouTube upload) with a freshly made mp4. It’s very close to DVD quality while still being like a third the size (it’s about 1GB which is pretty normal for a movie). Perfect for anyone who doesn’t wanna deal with the baggage of a menu and extras filled DVD iso (though I have still included the iso for anyone who wants it). Works great with the new subtitles.
I can understand why saying you were into Nazi shit at some point can definitely turn people off. It’s certainly strange to say things like ‘yeah, I’d be thinking [incredibly racist thing] if I hadn’t deconverted’ out of nowhere, especially to minorities.
But I also think that it shuts down conversations about how some relatively socially acceptable ideas are indistinguishable from Nazi shit. For me, personally, although I could couch my former views as ‘seperatist’, I choose to identify it as ‘Nazi shit’, because under any framework in which you believe that your race/gender/sexuality would be better off in what is effectively an ethnostate, you are going to be a Nazi apologist. White nationalism becomes *understandable*, maybe even desirable.
So yeah, I tell people that I would agree with them, if I was still in my Nazi apologist era. And I would tell them that the fact that I found myself apologizing for Nazis is why I don’t believe in seperatist ideas anymore.

it’s about the context. if a kid feels bad about doing something, they are unlikely to do it again unless they feel like they have to or if they don’t know another way to get it done. children are just small humans; they don’t like feeling bad/guilty/etc. any more than anyone else does. so if a kid comes forward and says ‘I did this bad thing and I feel bad about it’ and you scold them for doing that thing that they already feel bad about, then you are effectively just scolding them for coming forward. if the kid already feels bad, they don’t need an adult to tell them they should feel bad. in reality, the kid was probably coming forward about it because they wanted the adult to explain how to make it right, or how to do it properly.
Thank you, this helps. I like kids but being autistic sometimes it’s confusing because here in don’t know what the script is.
An appropriate script could be:
- Telling the kid that it is very brave of them to come forward and admit that they did something wrong.
- Having a conversation to find out why they did the bad thing. Sometimes there’s an underlying reason that needs to be addressed like ‘I’m worried the other kids think I’m not cool enough so I broke a rule’ or ‘I was mad at my sister because she called me fat so I broke her toy’, etc. These conversations might be more important than the bad thing.
- Telling the kid that we all make bad decisions sometimes and while we should try not to do that again, making a bad decision doesn’t mean we’re bad forever.
- Telling the kid that the best way to feel less bad about it is to try to make things right. Did they secretly take mom’s piece of cake? Maybe we can go bake a new piece of cake together and give it to mom. (The point here is not to make the kid really produce something of equal value to what they stole/broke/etc. A child often can not do that. The point is to practice what fixing the damage you have done looks like).
- Finishing the conversation with supportive words and maybe a hug, depending on the child and your relationship to that child. Above all the goal is making sure the child leaves the conversation feeling happy that they chose to come forward and committed to doing so again if they mess up in the future.
