I accidentally on purpose dumped a bunch of gushy shit on me and told him I write poems about him because he’s like art to me. And honestly this is so scary but I know he’ll take it well. But also like wtf????

Okay so he finally responded to the text by calling me. I had missed his call so he texted me saying how he called cause he wanted to express how good that made him feel. Said it made him wanna cry. But I called him back and he was just telling me how incredibly happy it made him feel to read all of that. And he’s like “I’m not trying to say that you don’t do enough but it’s like I wouldn’t have gotten any of this from you” and I told him that’s exactly why I did it. Like I realized after I saw how happy he got when I said how he’s going to do great on his test because he’s so smart, that like I don’t compliment him enough like that or express much of anything with how I feel. But he’s happy I finally realized that and dumped all of this out. I think it gave him a better idea too about how I feel about him which is going to make him more comfortable with getting closer to me. Cause he was saying that when his last relationship ended he didn’t want to rely on anyone and just focus on himself. But he said that gets hard. So I think this makes him feel like he can start opening up with this things with me.

I’m just happy that he liked it. I figured he would like it anyway but actually being able to hear his reaction and know that it affected him so positively feels good. And I told him I wanna grow with him and become a better person for him and myself and I think that this alone is showing that to myself. I’m actually making the steps to improve myself and be more verbal and show him what I got.

Honestly god bless vine for introducing so many young black people to cinematography I can’t wait until black people take over the movie industry.
